Brief Update

Nero quick sketch

It's nearly time for Story 3 in this season of SALMON & DUSK, but only nearly. There's about 9,000 words written and probably another 5,000 to go, which I had hoped to knock out last week. Instead, I've been back working on the new draft of HOW TO DISAPPEAR COMPLETELY - a draft I would really love you all to see sometime this year.

I'm off to Thailand for three weeks' work at the end of this week and it's unlikely I'll have time to write, record and edit before then. But, fear not! I'm hoping to be able to podcast from my hotel room, so we'll still see Story 3 by the end of the month. (All things being well.)

What can I tell you about the next story? Well, it's a Nero story, as he really hasn't had much time in the spotlight yet. Nero does someone a good turn and then suffers greatly for it. For now, that's all you're getting. As usually, it'll have drama, surprises and, hopefully, a few giggles. No explosions though, although I could always write one in.

Thanks again for all your support - it's been great to hear how much people have enjoyed the first stories.
